The HHP Virtual Run is to help raise awareness and vital funds for Harrogate Homeless Projects 30th Anniversary in October 2022. Harrogate Homeless Project provides people experiencing homelessness in the Harrogate District, with a safe place to stay and the support they need to build confidence and move towards independent living. We operate a day centre, supporting people experiencing homelessness with day-to-day care, emergency overnight accommodation, a 16-bed hostel and move on housing along with a range of support services.
The challenge is to run 5k, 10k or a half marathon on a day of your choosing in October 2022. To enter a £10 donation per person is required.
A £10.00 donation will provide a hot meal, shower, clothing and laundry facilities for a person experiencing homelessness.
This is a virtual event meaning you can run where you like, when you like, in October 2022, and all you need to do is log your run on an activity tracker and send this to us and you will earn yourself the following for taking part.
Participants will receive:
We have teamed up with Up & Running for the following prizes:
£75 voucher for fastest 5k, 10k and half marathon times
£100 voucher for best fundraising team (most donations raised for any distance)
Along with your £10 donation on entry, why not raise further donations for HHP, by setting up a JustGiving page and encourage friends, family and colleagues to support you. For more information click here.
Team entries are also welcome – challenge your colleagues and get running together and see if your company would like to get involved?
