Harrogate Roundtable has announced that proceeds from this year’s Stray fireworks will go to Harrogate Homeless Project, to mark the charity’s 30th anniversary.

Andy Rickards from Roundtable Harrogate said: “In a year when more people than ever are struggling with homelessness and food poverty, the services delivered by Harrogate Homeless Project and its Springboard Day Centre have never been more important.

“We hope people will give generously for this fantastic local cause and enjoy a spectacular evening of entertainment for all the family.”

Francis McAllister, CEO of Harrogate Homeless Project said the Stray fireworks would be a cornerstone event in the charity’s 30th anniversary calendar.

He said: “People are facing unprecedented challenges this winter and we are incredibly grateful to Roundtable members for choosing us as their headline charity this year.

“The money raised from the event will help us deliver more support, serve more hot meals and help more people into accommodation.”

A collection will be held throughout the evening on Saturday 5th November, with the event starting at 16:00 pm.
