Harrogate Homeless Project’s treasurer, David, has taken the charity’s 30th anniversary campaign to the capital by running 10K through the streets of London wearing an HHP 30th Anniversary branded running top.

David is a keen runner and took part in the London Winter Run, which takes place every year. The race starts in Trafalgar Square and goes up to the Bank of England before finishing alongside 10 Downing Street.

David was one of 11,000 runners who took part in the race during a chilly weekend in February. He completed the 10K course in just under 59 minutes and raised £170 plus gift aid for HHP. He also raised money for Cancer Research UK which organised the event.  The 2022 event raised over £400,000 for Cancer Research UK.

Watch out for David and his HHP running top as he trains around Harrogate for his next big challenge!
