Harrogate Homeless Project’
Was a fundraising event organised by Harrogate Homeless Project in partnership with the
West Park Hotel and Bash Studios
The event was a great success and we are extremely proud that so many people got together on that night to support the homeless.
The staff, volunteers and residents would like to thank the West Park Hotel for hosting this concert, Bash Studios who have provided excellent sound material and sound engineers throughout the evening and all five bands who have generously helped in organising the event all along and played amazing sets. The event has also received fantastic support from the Blues Bar, Rock Steady Music, Muzo, Radio York, Stray FM and the Harrogate Advertiser who have helped promoting the concert and raising funds and awareness
The event was held on :
Friday 29th January 2010
at the West Park Hotel in Harrogate
We would also like to thank all the businesses who have kindly donated valuable prizes for the raffle held on the night
Thanks to this overwhelming support, over £1500 have raised been raised for Harrogate Homeless Project. Thes funds will be used to meet the daily running costs of both the hostel on Bower Street and the Springboard Day Centre. Both services provide professional support to over thirty clients per day and are more than ever an essential source of help for those who find themselves homeless and vulnerable in the Harrogate area. We are also expecting to utilise donations to purchase new furniture for the hostel which is now undergoing refurbishment and to further develop meaningful activities for clients as part of our ongoing effort to increase service user involvement.
On behalf of all the staff, volunteers and clients thanks for all your support.
