About Us

The Harrogate Homeless Project was established in 1991, by Churches Together, in response to the need for emergency accommodation for those sleeping rough in Harrogate.

What we provide

The project is a direct access hostel providing accommodation for people who find them selves homeless or facing homelessness.

Who we can help

The Project accommodates single adults over 18 years old, who have a connection to the Harrogate area (whether through employment, family, or having lived in the area previously). We cover the district.

Company

The Project is a registered company (No. 2634724) and a Registered Charity (No. 1011337). The Project is managed by a Board of Trustees and employs 6 full-time staff members and a team of part-time night workers. The Project currently has approximately 30 volunteers covering evening and night shifts.
