Violet store raises £3.5K for Harrogate Homeless Project

Harrogate fashion store Violet has been an incredible supporter of Harrogate Homeless Project since it opened, donating a proportion of its limited edition HGTE sweatshirts towards our running costs.

The amount raised for Harrogate Homeless Project through sweatshirt sales has now reached £3,500 and we would like to say a huge thank you to founder Sara Shaw and Violet’s customers.

Sara has become well known in town for her exclusive collection of contemporary pre-owned womenswear and accessories as well as her statement collection of Harrogate inspired sweatshirts, which she sells from her boutique on Cheltenham Mount.

She is passionate about making a difference in the community where she lives and works and we are delighted that she has chosen to donate to Harrogate Homeless Project to help us continue to operate and develop our services for single homeless adults in the town.

Liz Hancock, CEO of Harrogate Homeless Project, said: “We have benefitted in many ways from the partnership with Violet’s Harrogate store and we are immensely grateful for the financial contribution to our charity, the awareness that has been generated of our work and the personal support of founder Sara who takes a genuine interest in our role in the community.”
