Harrogate Homeless Project has launched a series of new fundraising initiatives, including a corporate patrons scheme, which it hopes will create greater budget certainty for the charity.
The schemes have been designed to make it easier for businesses to get involved and will allow the charity to expand its work to provide the homeless in Harrogate with the strategies, support and services they need to begin the difficult journey back to truly independent living.
The plans are designed to generate a steady income stream and provide corporate and personal supporters with new ways to get involved.
Friends of HHP
We are fortunate to have a number of individuals in the Harrogate district and beyond who support us year after year by becoming a Friend of HHP. Their donation of £50 a year is a valuable contribution to our ongoing work to help Harrogate’s homeless.
Sponsor a Chair
Our day centre café at Springboard is a friendly space for homeless and vulnerable people to meet, eat and access vital support and services. Springboard has 20 chairs, which can each be sponsored for £100 a year.
Our Springboard day centre is a warm and friendly environment offering hot and cold food, shower facilities, a laundry service and professional support and advice. We’re looking for supporters to help us develop this service and make it sustainable for the long term. As a Springboard Supporter you will have the satisfaction of knowing that you’re making a genuine difference to the most vulnerable people in our town.
To become a Springboard Supporter we ask for a contribution of £250 a year.
No Second Night Out
Our No Second Night Out service has 5 emergency beds which provide somewhere safe, warm and dry to sleep. This essential facility means nobody has to sleep rough for a second night. Could you or your company sponsor a bed for £500 a year?
Become a patron of HHP
HHP is looking to appoint 16 corporate patrons whose annual £1,000 contribution will make a real difference to our ability to manage resources and plan ahead with certainty.
